Is a wonderful example of the less is more school of recording,
a stunning disc that revels in creating a series of environments using only minimal instrumentation.
Featuring minimal piano-based loops and patterns, Sanfilippo masterfully creates mournful melodies that are delightfully dark and haunting. Tracks range from sparse tracks where piano is the only instrument, to more complex works where metallic pads and a smattering of strings add to the environment, filling out the sound but never detracting or overpowering the delicate beauty of the piano found throughout all of the disc's songs.
A truly wonderful work to become acquainted with this very talented performer.
Rik, Pingthings - Canada

"His gift for picture music is the
common thread running through it,
his earlier works sounding more like soundtrack music and his later works moving into more ambient realms, though still with a strong sense of imagery" Phil Derby -
Editor & Publisher Electroambient Space.

Through his contemplative music
the intention is to transmit something other than emotional
stimulus or simple entertainment.
It obsesses itself with a search through different things - the amazing, the magical and the deep. In dreams, there’s no imagined thing that’s too absurd, too strange - Bruno Sanfilippo's music comes from that inexhaustible and shameless source.
